This is well done for what it is. Very simple and stylized. The thing it lacks for me is appeal. The reason is, your line weight is all the same thickness. There is no variation in you lines from thick to thin,and since there is no implication of shading either, the viewer doesn't immediately know where to look. Shadow and line weight lead the eye. Do you have a tablet? is so is your brush set to pen pressure? if not, I recommend it. It'll help with that.

Beyond that though, you did this to look like scratch art and I think that's ambitious of you. Character design is good, structure and proportion is solid. One thing I would say to you is this. and you can ignore this completely if you think I'm wrong, but the style you did this in screams Lion King. I really encourage you to find a less Disney style to draw lion's in. explore the techniques you use and make choices to alter them a little. Find other artists to take influence from that don't have a Disney style. Don't copy them of coarse, but get influenced and inspired by them. The reason I say this is, everyone does this now. If they wanna draw a lion it look TLKish. I have seen every character concept you can possibly think of in this style. And what it does is, this character may have a different kind of tail, may have horns and fairy wings, but it doesn't look original because you are in a highly replicated style. Dare to break free of that and do something a little different.
