Because I haven't drawn Dusk in a while and I sorta missed him XD And because one can never have enough sakura petals XD enjoy mates. May color this but other things call.

I must appologize for my absence as of recent but i've hit an art block so this was done to sort of force myself back into doing real art again. It was fun to do XD. enjoy folks!

Other than framing purposes, I'd like to know why his tail is up and around like that. Based on his stance, it doesn't look like it should be unless he deliberately keeps the fluffy up.

it is strictly framing purposes. Sometimes aesthetics over ride logic. I have no real logical reason for it except that it's what I felt the image needed XD. If we focus to much on logic, we lose the moment. This was done it the moment, so I can't say you are incorrect, but I can say this was a concious descision XD I wanted to frame him a bit and wanted an excuse to show the tail. But what you say is correct from an otherwise logical standpoint.
