Ok, so this is dusk's sensei and surrogate family whome he adresses as "Grandfather. Hi's actual name is Windfang. He's a master swordsman and a teacher of the old, mystical arts and the ways of the Kitashi of old. Chines straight swords are his favored weapon but he is also quite dangerous with a katana and a bo staff, infact, there arn't many weapons he can't use, or many objects he can't turn into a weapon.

Windfang can seem eccentric but at his core is very wise, often time choosing to use his eccentric position to teach leassons that aren't always apparent at first to his pupils. In this way he guides his pupils to their own answers rather than telling them direct information.

Windfang has seen great sorrow, but his heart has stayed pure and he cares deeply for Dusk and for others that he sees as pupils or students. dusk has truely become his family though and though he often appears to ride Dusk hard, he loves him.
