Description

I don't know what to say about this pic. I wanted to write something to go with it, but again I think I have made an image that would only be detracted from if I tried to add anything more with words. Basically the gist is that Dusk and Roah have found themselves in an abandoned train yard in the middle of one of my distopian cities of my world that I seem to always want to draw LOL. There is deep meaning in this, but i'm gonna let you find it.

So let me know your thoughts on this XD

About the pic itself: This took somewhere between 30 and 50 hours. I've lost count, and that's just this go around. I had started this and gotten nearly finished before I went back to WY and the PS crashed and, stupid me, I was working without having saved. LOL that, was not cool. LOL Kids, ALWAYS save your work while you work on it LOL.

Anyway, this pic was a challenge to myself to see if I could totally pain this in photo shot with no under drawing. my usual process is to draw it and then color in ps. This time I did it totally and 100 percent from start to finish with a wacom tablet in ps sooo, i'm rather proud of the way it turned out XD.

BTW Want a print of this? I won't sell through DA, but I can make prints. if you are interested, note me.

XD peace mateys, enjoy.

Really love how you did the background in this, from afar there is also this nice 3D feel to it as well.

Seems to me they're both in contemplation of what they're seeing, especially with this depressing looking environment. The only thing alive is their company with each other, so it's not so dismal.

Not sure what to think about the lights though, it's like there is still something alive in this highly abandoned civilized world, and it may be your intention, maybe not, but it has a nice subtle romantic feel to them (like hope and love).
